It was a great session for all of us. This was made possible coz we are committed and united in our common objective ie love for the game and more importantly bonding the ties among us.
I'm always happy and energetic whenever people like all of you around. The views, comments and jokes that I always remember.

Assalamualaikum,

We have 3 more days to 2011 and it will be new chapter to PGABS which is having new AJK. Personally, I would agree every association to have new blood after 4-5 years in order to have new idea and new way of doing things. If I were to stay again, PGABS will be stagnantly managed like in 2006 whilst everything and everybody keep on changing.

Every committee members, during my 2-term stint with PGABS has taught me a great deal about work and life. I will never forget the lively meetings which were sometime went out of topic but were meant business for the association. I am very grateful for the support I have received and especially the closeness we experienced.

Special thanks to YB Datuk Fadillah Yusof, whom from the beginning willing to be the President and save PGABS from it almost deathbed. I believed, without his initial moral support and all along financial support, it would be tough for PGABS to spring back into the market.

I am proud to note that PGABS was - since 2006 – managed differently under YB Datuk. To mention a few, we recruited and increased the members by 170% from 132 and now the members are from all over the state. We went digital by having website, facebook, twitter and sms-blitzer in order for the association and members getting abreast with the fast-track.

Tailoring the needs of the members, we created the flagship tournament - President Cup which is having class of it own. This top-notch tournament was highly anticipated yearly event by the members. Muhibbah Golf, which was organized quarterly, was never less popular albeit intermittently absent.

Personally, I have full confident with the new committee and I appeal to all members to support fully all their activities. Any ideas and proposal can be channeled to email: shaharyalias@gmail.com for their consideration.
