Andrew made a superb breakthrough on the Asian Tour in 2010 when he won the Avantha Masters in India. He defeated England’s Richard Finch by one stroke with his winning total of 14-under-par 274.

Andrew made a strong impression in his second season on the Asian Tour in 2009. He finished top-10 at the Macau Open and cash-rich Barclays Singapore Open and also top-20 in the Black Mountain Masters, Worldwide Holdings Selangor Masters to finish 15th on the Order of Merit. He enjoyed a solid rookie season in 2008 by recording six top-10 finishes that included a runner-up result at the Hana Bank Vietnam Masters where he lost in a play-off to Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand.

He missed his chance for a maiden title when his chip at the edge of the green slipped by in the second play-off hole in Ho Chi Minh. He also posted top-10 finishes at the Philippine Open, Brunei Open, Midea China Classic, Iskandar Johor Open and Volvo Masters of Asia which sealed his card for 2009. Andrew earned his playing rights on the Asian Tour when he finished joint fifth at the Asian Tour Qualifying School in Malaysia in December, 2007. He has a solid record as an amateur that includes wins in Australia, Chinese Taipei (Nomura Cup) and Malaysia. He also finished runner-up at the New Zealand Amateur Open in 2006.
