Yong wins Raya Golf Special

BINTULU: Amateur golfer Peter Yong took home a grand prize as he emerged as the top winner in the Hari Raya Special Golf competition held at Kelab Golf Bintulu on Saturday.

A total of 120 golfers took part in this special competition organised by KGM and jointly sponsored by Serumpun Sdn Bhd, Nexteam and GGIFA International College of Aviation.

Yong carded 69 nett to receive the top prize from chief executive officer of Nexteam Saidi Samsudin.

In the Gross section, Sigar Tidan proved he was still the man to beat when he again rose to the occasion by hitting the 18-hole with 79 strokes.

Deputy president of GGIFA International College of Aviation Datin Joanna Lim Abdullah was one of the VIPs who gave away the prizes.
