April 11, 2010: PABS Team, came with all- black, started with high note by winning their first game in the KGS Matchplay Championship 2010. The winning points were contributed by both their singles players and one of the four-best ball. The combination of Haji Abdul Jalil and Haji Mohamad Sabry Othman contributed their first points as early as at16th holes. they won 4-3 while both singles were dragged to the 18th hole.

First single, Abu Bakar Kiprawi finished the game 2-0 but not until the 18th-hole finishing. He carried the one hole advantage after birdieing and winning the 15th hole. Abu Bakar, who was just back from Adelaide, played 7-handicap. It was a close fight by Jeffery Hua.

Second single, Omarali Matjais, handicap 9, undergone the gruelling moment after he was trailed behind with 2 holes deficit. A lone birdie at 14th hole was a turning point and followed by a long par putt at 15th hole zerorised the deficit. The deciding 18th hole found his ball reached the green in regulation making his opponent torpedoed his third shot into the bunker.
