In second place was Helmi Hipni, who won on countback over third place winner Abu Bakar Mohd Suhai.
In the novelty event played over 18 holes, Haji Zabidi Shahbaneh came out top in the nett category with a 70 while Jimmie Teo was the gross champion with a score of 80.
The event was jointly organised by the Sarawak Golf Club and Red Bull Malaysia where main prizes were awarded to golfers who played better over the last five holes in the round.
Red Bull’s Finishing 5 competition is a test of a golfer’s physical and mental endurance as the last five holes are statistically where golfers of all levels tend to make the most mistakes due to physical and mental fatigue.
The Red Bull Finishing 5 is another one of Red Bull’s continuous initiative to promote an active lifestyle through sports.
