Dear Members,

There are many enquiries regarding the SASKE Cup which to be held this Saturday @ 3rd May at DGCC. The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) are:

Net over Gross or otherwise?
It is gross OVER Nett. Therefore the prizes for net are much inferior than the gross prizes.

From previous records, prizes are not better than the PGABS President's Cup. How about this time around?

In view of its mobility and having more than 20 leagues nationwide, the prizes maybe less favourable to some people but the goodies and the novelties are of high value. The goodies worth more than RM400.

I may not be able to win any of the categories, let alone sinking an ace. In monetary term, is it worth paying RM195 for the entrance fees?

Good question. Weekend Green Fees plus buggy fees plus lunch plus goodies worth around RM700. We should say, worth investing. Let us enjoy golfing and winning is secondary.

How many and what are the prizes for Hole-in-One?

There will be Hole-in-one for all Par 3s. The prizes consists of 4-Wheel Drive TREKKER worth RM60,000. EDOX WATCH worth RM 2,750.00; SRIXON IRON SET worth RM 2,590 and PENSONIC - NATURAL PURE WATER SYSTEM worth RM 2,750

What are other benefits?

The top 5 Gross winners are qualified to play in the final at Desaru Golf and Counrty Resort. Lunch will be provided after the game and bottle water and canned drink will be supplied during the game.

Why are some of us under Reserved List?

Organising of SASKE Cup 2008 is outsourced to DGCC. While PGABS is the co-owner of the tournament, DGCC has every right to determine the number of participants, the quality of food, the flight list and etc. In view of the overwhelming response, around 40 people are in the reserved list.
