ERA KRISTAL STAMPED THEIR PLACE IN FINAL
PGABS WENT BERSERK
GEDUNG HUMBLED BY TIGER

Era Kristal booked their place in KGS Matchplay Championship final after beating KKB 3-2 in a game extended to 20 holes. However it was PGABS who stole the limelight. Black Horse PGABS tamed Blessed Builders 5-0. Gedong Megah, tipped to go to final, ended their run after losing 3-2 to Tiger Team.

The next game will be played on Saturday @ 19 April between PGABS and U1616 and the winner will play against Tiger on Sunday. The winners on Sunday to play in the semi 26 April. Final to be played on 27 April 2008.

ERA KRISTAL vs KKB

KKB tested ERA Kristal for a grilling sudden death play-off until Aziz Kadir closed the game with a par to register 3-2 in match played under the hot afternoon. Man Rongan- Aziz combination, who played in first 4-ball, played a total of 20 holes before the team celebrated their entry into final. Earlier, their single Leonard won 3-2 and Bob-Kassim combination were 4 up with 3 holes to go.

First 4-ball combination, Amin-Hj Jalil and single prodigy, AA Rahim were undone with 3-4 and 3-2 respectively.

PGABS vs BLESSED BUILDERS

BB has no answers to Black Horse, PGABS marauding performance today as they went berserk and won 5-0. Yusri, who is yet to conceed any game, won 4-3 against Su Ket. Yusri ended his game in style by sinking a birdie at par 5 hole 15. Lawasian Lokman tamed two-time Green Jacket holder, Francis Then 3-2 whilst Ahoi-Omar combination won 3-2 after registering dormie 4.

Earlier Foursome combination of BJ-Saadi won 3-2 against combination of Roland Ling and Simon Woon. However, it wasn't easy for second 4-ball combination of Zaidi-Nasir as they were held 0-0 by Lucas Lai - Chai Seng until the final hole. However, the later decided not to proceed with the play-off and conceeded the points.

GEDUNG MEGAH vs TIGER

Humble Gedung Megah was humbled by Tigers but it was themselves to blame. Roslan arrived from Jakarta less than 8 hours to tee-off. He was not only having jetlegged but thinking of his new borned baby at Bandung. Alias Bujang yet to recover from flu and substitute Abang Ibrahim was off-form. Both single Zainudin and Roslan and foursome combination Alias-Nafri were down by 2-3.

The winning points were contributed by both 4-ball combination of Shah Minan-Sulaiman (5-4) and Waillie-Hasnu (2-1)
