PGABS BOYCOTTED SEMI IN PROTEST
AGAINST UNFAIR PRACTICES BY KGS TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
Love it or not, the PGABS Team is NOT playing in the semi today @ Saturday! Players felt that they have not been treated fairly by the Tournament Committee (TC). The TC insist PGABS to play Kho Kah Beng (KKB) Team today despite the fact that the request to have "NO MATCHES on 26 April" has been agreed during the 'Special Meeting' on 3rd April 2008.
In our second letter of appeal dated 23 April through Deputy Captain, cited "... PGABS is not asking for more than just requesting KGS to honour their promise...." To our chagrin, TC in his reply denied any such promise existed and sent us the minutes of meeting to support his argument. Going through, we found the minute was not consistent with our reporting under tittled: TOP STORYL!NE 3rd April 2008.

SPORTSMANSHIP vs DIGNITY
We weigh between sportsmanship on one hand and dignity on the other. We deliberated on the benefits and the implication of playing. PGABS image was also came into light. We listened and considered members and supporters view and interest. At the end of the day, winning is secondary but dignity is supreme. Our principles is - Be gentleman !
26 April @ 12.08 pm - PGABS proudly registered their protest in the line-up sheet and written thereon "UNDER PROTEST" and KBB won by default.

Dear PGABS,
Somebody must be responsible and accountable for this problem.Please advise further action and we are behind you. We are proud you do not bow to this type of people.
We have PGABS member in KGS Committee. Are they doing anything to help you? They must take accountability and resign now.
what a surprise! this tournamentis nothing but full of contraversies..unbecoming of a club event but more of a political turmoil... well, almost similar to the national political scenario...you have a weak leadership(TC), trying to be nice to everybody, trying to accommodate your colleague and friends request, trying to tell others that you know what you are doing;but you only know nuts; you have messed up the beautiful game of golf competition; just by apologizing is not enough; it is now so meaningless to continue with the game and more so to win the cup... something must be done to ensure that the future competition is much better and meeting its very objectives...
what an anti-climax....
PGABS members shld now request that KKB fully sponsor the JKTR trip and this friendly gesture shall make all the sacrifices worthwhile... just joking...
now after all these, it shld be all the more reasons for team Erakristal to play their heart out tomorrow in order to uphold the DIGNITY of the men from PGABS... and team erakristal to win the covetted cup for all of us in PGABS....INSYAALLAH....
Based on the fact posted, you have the point .... and had made 'good' decision. As PGABS member, of course I am with you on these issue.
But please, in the spirit of camaraderie of the blogsphere, appreciate if everybody not to be carried away emotionally and to avoid confrontation with KGS as its still 'our' club too.
erakristal the champion.......unbeaten throughout the tournament.... deservedly carrying the flag for PGABS members... congratulations to them... you are now the favourite team... and can brag about your winning until the month of march next year.... the depending champion..wwweeeewwwiiittt...

Good advise. However, PGABS is not at logger-head with KGS but with Tournament Committee and maybe the Captain. They are telling lies. This is a story of PGABS members dikotak-katikkan oleh sebilangan kecil orang sahaja. Kita malulah. Mana maruah dan mana semangat Rosli Dobi?

PGABS is now the hostage to the political agenda of TC and his friends. Better stop their action now or never at all.
Mula-mula sukar saya memahami apa pentingnya boikot oleh PGABS. Setelah diteliti dan diselidiki barulah saya faham bahwa pemain kita telah ditipu dan dibohongi oleh TC. Saya setuju kerana kita tidak patut tunduk kepada perbuatan iblis. Kerana yang bohong dan menidakkan kebenaran itu ialah dari kalangan iblis.
Pemain kita telah menunjukkan kepada kita semua, mereka ada martabat sebagai manusia. Tetapi, dalam pemain kita bertindak sebagai khalifah, mungkin ada diantara ahli kita yang tunduk dan mengikut desakan iblis ini. Maka rugilah mereka ini.
Pembohongan TC adalah tindak balas normal bagi mana-mana pihak yang sedang kecewa dan tersepit. Saya tidak heran kalau pembohongan TC akan berlarutan kerana, kalau anjing dah biasa makan najis dia akan sentiasa makan benda yang sama.
Percayalah.. pemain kita telah memenangi perjuangan mereka untuk menegakkan kebenaran. Mereka talah berjaya tidak dapat diperkotak-katikkan oleh sesiapa. Yang ketara kalah ialah TC dan pengikut-pengikutnya. Doa-doa tidak ada dari golongan kita yang mempercayai pembohongan TC. Kalau pembohongan ini tidak ditentang dari sekarang, maka besar kemungkinan mereka akan melakukan untuk berterusan dan akibatnya semua pemimpin KGS akan berbohong.
Kita mesti sokong dan teruskan perjuangan membetulkan keadaan. Sesiapa yang tidak menyokong usaha ini boleh dikatakan bacul, tunduk kepada iblis dan punya minda yang dijajah oleh orang lain.
