SIZE OF HOLE
How did the hole come to be standardized at its current size of 4.25 inches in diameter? In new rules issued in 1891, the R&A determined that the hole size should be standard on golf courses everywhere. So the R&A discussed just what exactly that size should be.

RIGHT SHAFT
In steel shafts, because the type of steel material is the same throughout the entire shaft, the torque exists in a very narrow range of degrees, one that is much more narrow than in graphite shafts.
LATEST DRIVER
The coating hits with a force twice as hard as steel, 70% harder than titanium. With that much punch a good golfer could turn some par-4’s into par-3’s.
